You are invited to apply to join our team of Specialist Advisory Teachers, working successfully throughout Hertfordshire to support children and young people, their families and educational setting. You will have recent experience supporting children in schools or currently work in an advisory service. You also need a thorough knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, work well within a team and be able to work to deadlines You will support families of CYP (0 -25) with a Visual Impairment and their schools and settings. Experience of teaching Visually Impaired CYP is essential and ideally you will be a qualified Teacher for pupils with a Visual Impairment. We will, however, consider any suitable candidate and will support the necessary post graduate training which must be completed within the prescribed timescale. We can offer you a friendly, supportive working environment, a full induction and ongoing professional development. Due to the nature of this role you will be required to travel across the county, therefore a full driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable.
