Salary: MPS/UPS plus SEN2

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired to our highly committed, forward looking and expanding team.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Teacher for the Visually Impaired and have experience of working with children and young people with a visual impairment in a variety of settings and age groups. An RNIB qualification in contracted Braille is essential.
The post will involve peripatetic work within mainstream and specialist schools and early years settings. It will also involve working with parents/carers of young babies and liaison with health professionals, other agencies and our specialist teaching assistant.
An enhanced DBS ‘Disclosure and Barring Service’ check is mandatory for this role.
You will be required to provide a car for business use.
Flexible working supported where appropriate, laptop and mobile supplied.
