Salary Range from £43,686 to £47,277
We are seeking a highly motivated, suitably qualified and experienced person to become a Learning Adviser with responsibility for the management of a sub-regional Sensory Service, covering the counties of Flintshire, Denbighshire and Wrexham.
The successful candidate will have a lead responsibility for Sensory Impairment across the authorities and will have line management responsibility for a team of specialist staff. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the provision and progress for all pupils with sensory impairment and will have a coordination role with regard to specialist Resourced provision.
Collaborative working is an essential part of this role and the successful candidate will be expected to develop close working relationships with pupils, parents, schools and a range of health and social care professionals. Building capacity of staff within our schools is a priority and collaborative working with a range of LA officers is an essential part of this role.
As this post will result in you having substantial contact with children and/or vulnerable adults the successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Services check.
