New College Worcester is a nationally regarded non-maintained special school, devoted to the education of visually impaired young people aged 11 – 19. NCW has a ‘Good’ OFSTED report, and an Outstanding OFSTED Care report. We are seeking to appoint from September 2018: NCW is continually adapting and improving in this challenging financial climate and embracing technological change in the digital age. As such we are recruiting for the following exciting and pivotal role in the Fundraising Department.
Scale: SCP 4, NJC 18-21; £18,870-£20,541 (pro rata £11,136 - £12,122)
25 hours per week, term time only + two weeks
Some early morning, evening and weekend working will be required.
We are seeking a Fundraising Officer with relevant experience and skills to support the Head of Fundraising to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the Fundraising Department. The Fundraising Officer will report directly to the Head of Fundraising, with considerable freedom to develop a number of varied income streams. This role will work to strengthen the relationships with alumni, parents, staff and governors, volunteers, local businesses and other fundraising stakeholders.
This role is at the forefront of NCW’s ongoing development and will therefore require a ‘can do’ attitude. This post is conditional on verified references, medical clearance and an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check and Registration. NCW is an Equal Opportunities employer.
