NJC SCP 9 – 17; £16,755-£18,672 (pro rata for 17.5/45 hours: £6,516 - £7,261)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic member of staff to provide a high standard of care to students with a vision impairment, in a proficient and sensitive manner that will enhance their academic and social development. Direct contact with the students involves developing and delivering care programmes appropriate to their age and understanding. Experience of ASD and Autism would be an advantage, as would be the ability to be firm and persistent in the face of challenges. This position is temporary until the end of the current academic year 2018/2019.
