Rochdale Additional Needs Service is looking to fill a post of permanent full-time Teacher MPR/UPR + SEN (£4242). You must have qualified teacher status and hold the mandatory qualification for specialist teachers of children and young people with vision impairment (QTVI).

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our committed and friendly team, to work with children and young people (CYP) with vision impairment (VI) including CYP with complex needs and VI. You will work in schools (both mainstream and special), pre-school settings and with families across Rochdale. You should have recent and extensive experience - within the last five years - of teaching CYP with VI, including CYP with complex needs and VI and be able to support settings to plan and develop the effective inclusion and independence of these CYP.

The successful applicant will be appointed to the Team for Children with Vision Impairment within Rochdale Additional Needs Service.
