If you like driving change and exciting challenges then NCW is the place for you. New College Worcester is a non-maintained residential school for blind and vision impaired young people, aged 11-19. It is a unique and special place to work and learn, full of exceptional young people. Most students follow the national curriculum and study at GCSE and A level. A small number of students have additional needs. At an important time for the College, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding leader to join our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be passionate about the achievement of young people and committed to supporting them in reaching their aspirations. As a leader you will be have exceptional knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning for vision impaired young people, demonstrated through your status as a Qualified Teacher for the Visually Impaired. You will have a clear strategic vision regarding the delivery of the additional curriculum and will support both College and Care in its implementation. You will be creative and imaginative in leading CPD across the College and will support the Outreach team in the development of their work.
