An experienced and highly motivated teacher of the visually impaired is required from September 2019. This is an exciting opportunity to join Oxfordshire’s Visual Impairment Team in supporting the inclusion of pupils who have a visual impairment into educational settings and schools across the county.
Knowledge of teaching children with visual impairment or other special educational needs is essential, as is recent teaching experience in either mainstream or special education.
We are seeking a highly effective teacher with a good ability to plan, monitor and review the impact of teaching interventions towards agreed learning outcomes.
You must have the ability to travel between schools, for which a mileage allowance is paid.
Salary range: Teachers Pay and Conditions plus SEN allowance for a recognised DfE mandatory qualification (QTVI)

Hours per week: 19.50 (60%)
