RESIDENTIAL CARE TUTOR (ref: C192/0719) – a 12 month contract.
Full time: 45 hours per week (term time only).
NJC SCP 7 – 11, £19,554 - £21,166.
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic member of staff to provide a high standard of care to students with a vision impairment, in a proficient and sensitive manner that will enhance their academic and social development. Direct contact with the students involves developing and delivering care programmes appropriate to their age and understanding.
You will be working in shifts over seven days to include mornings, days and evenings in the Sixth Form Hostel and student boarding houses, and sleep-ins for which an extra payment is made. The hours will be determined by your Line Manager and may change depending on student needs, and a degree of flexibility will be necessary as your duties will be across the whole College, covering gaps in any house / hostel. This position is term time only.
