Supporting the Transition to Secondary for a Pupil with Vision Impairment

Learn how to
• successfully access food technology
o make your own lunch whilst learning basic food preparation skills including chopping, grating , weighing, measuring and opening tins, marking up equipment for access
• speed up independent dressing skills
o how to label clothes, ensure right way up, fasten laces and ties
• instil safe independent travel practices
o using apps to navigate and stay safe, safe travel strategies on public transport
o money handling
Places allocated on a first come basis with numbers strictly limited to offer a safe practical training experience
All this for a cost of £120 including a resource pack
Containing Liquid Level indicator, Oven shelf edges, toast tongs, dycem sample, sample bump ons , centro travel pack, Basic Food Preparation workbook and Handbook full of tricks and tips, Transition Booklet, I can sheets
