More InformationPay scale – Teacher Leadership Scale 13 to 15 [£55,202 - £57,986] An exciting opportunity to lead Staffordshire’s Specialist Support Service arises because of the retirement of the well-respected post holder. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of teaching teams for children and young people with a sensory loss and / or autism aged 0-25 years within a highly valued local authority team. Our large centrally based team consists of Specialist Teachers, Communication Support workers, Mobility officers, ICT resource technicians, Intervenors and deaf / blind role models. We support C &YP with sensory loss and / or autism in a variety of settings including homes, mainstream, and specialist settings. The post-holder will also contribute to strategic planning within the Vulnerable Learners’ Service. Staffordshire provides an attractive working environment with mixed urban and rural catchments. We are a friendly, supportive service that prioritises wellbeing, and effective change management. This post reflects Teacher’s Pay and Conditions and will be term time, however there will be the expectation of some availability at other times.
