We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and qualified Specialist Teacher of Vision Impairment to our highly committed and expanding team on a permanent, full time contract to from September 2020 onwards.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Teacher of Vision Impairment and have experience of working with children and young people with a vision impairment in a variety of settings and age groups.
The post will involve peripatetic work within mainstream and specialist schools and early years settings. It will also involve working with parents/carers of young babies and liaison with health professionals, other agencies, colleagues and our specialist teaching assistant.
Southampton Specialist Teacher Advisory Service is a forward thinking and vibrant team.
