The Headteacher and Governors of Higham St. John's C E Primary wish to recruit an enthusiastic, creative and skilful teaching assistant to work as a 1:1 support assistant for a child in our school who has a visual impairment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and suitably experienced and qualified TA.
The post will be based in Key Stage 2. The post is a fixed term contract of 27.5 hours per week during term time which will end when the child leaves our school. The post is to start on the 1st September 2020.
The post requires the candidate to have excellent IT skills, Level 1 Braille (essential) and Level 2 Braille (highly desirable) or commit to completing Level 2 Braille qualification within the first year of employment.
