The Sensory Support Service in Cornwall has children and young people with sensory impairment (hearing, vision and multi-sensory impairment) from 0-25 at the centre everything we do! We enjoy fantastic working relationships with families, schools and education settings along with other professional colleagues. We are a peripatetic team and work in a wide range of specialist and mainstream settings across the county.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Vision Support Team as a full time peripatetic Teacher of Vision Impairment based in the Mid area. This role is suitable for teachers who currently hold the Mandatory Qualification in Vision Impairment. Suitably experienced teachers who wish to apply who do not hold the Mandatory Qualification will be expected to complete it (the distance education course is funded by the Sensory Support Service).

The start date is November 1st or as soon as possible thereafter.
Salary information: STPCD MPS/ UPS + SEND dependant on qualifications.
