From September 2021, we are seeking to appoint an IT Technician to support the inclusion of children and young people with a vision impairment. The Vision Support Service is based at Tapton School and supports children throughout the city from 0-25 years, in a range of educational settings. The successful candidate will have wide experience and knowledge of a range of IT that could support the inclusion of VI children and young people. Training in specialist IT packages and in braille will be provided.

The post is for 37 hours per week x 52 weeks per year. Applicants must have good literacy and numeracy skills. The post will involve travelling and working in different settings across the city.
