An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Senior Teacher to join our Sensory Education and Support Team. The Sensory Education and Support Team works with children and young people 0-25 who have hearing, visual, or multi sensory impairments.

About the Team
Lincolnshire's Sensory Education and Support team works with children and young people from 0-25 years who have Education, Health, and Care plans or are supported within the graduated approach.
This is a great opportunity for a suitably qualified teacher who wants to work in an outstanding Children's Services, have hands on work, a leadership and development role as well as the opportunity to work closely with specialists and clinical staff.
About the role
You will lead a team of 18 Specialist Teachers, a qualified Habilitation Specialist; a Specialist Assistive Technology Officer, and 4 Specialist TA's who assess and support children and young people in early years', mainstream, special, and post 16 settings. Children in their early years are also supported in the home. The team is highly valued by settings and families.
As the Sensory Education and Support Senior Teacher you will be responsible for ensuring the provision for children and young people with identified sensory impairment needs are fully met in Lincolnshire through assessment, recommendations, strategic working and skilled staff teams. You will lead on the development of staff skills, professional supervision, and the service development plan.
