Our Resource Base for Visually Impaired pupils is shared between World’s End Infant and World’s
End Junior Schools; the Resource Base is established and thriving, and currently supports the full
integration of 11 children, from Nursery to Year 6, with a staff of 7 VI TA’s. The 3-form entry schools
are happy, welcoming and supportive environments, very well-regarded in the local area, and
This key role has arisen due to the impending relocation of the current co-ordinator. We are looking
for a creative teacher with a passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to inclusion,
strong leadership and management skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire,
motivate and support others. Knowledge of, and experience in teaching children with visual
impairment is essential.
