This is a really exciting opportunity to work in a unique 2-19yrs Specialist School that will offer you lots of inspiring and innovative opportunities.

We are looking for an experienced or aspiring Assistant Headteacher to join our Specialist school with a focus on teaching, learning and the curriculum. This enthusiastic and inspiring senior leader would support the Deputy Headteacher and Headteacher in leading Priestley Smith Specialist VI School (for children who are blind and partially sighted), with a whole school focus on the Quality of Education and specific leadership of the Primary Department.

You will lead a team of 3 Middle Leaders in ensuring the Quality of Education is aspirational and innovative, and ensuring that the Curriculum Framework for Vision Impairment is also delivered alongside the National Curriculum.

Your teaching commitment will be approximately 40%.
