Salary: Scale PO6-9 scp 32-35 £38,296 - £41,496 per annum, 37 hours per week year round

An opportunity to join Calderdale’s much respected Specialist Inclusion Teams, who support Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to access their education and to lives full and aspirational lives. Calderdale’s SEND & Inclusion Team are part of the Borough’s Children and Young People’s Services and have a strong commitment to ensuring educational inclusion and best outcomes for each and every child / young person.

Have you got qualified experience to support children and young people who are Vision Impaired with their mobility and daily living skills and enabling access to education?

If you believe you can make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people with vision impairments and you are a Qualified Habilitation Specialist, then we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic person to join our established team in delivering Habilitation services to CYP (0-25yrs) across Calderdale.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills and be familiar with Habilitation assessments / tracking, devising and delivering interventions and report writing.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to developing professional relationships with children and young people with a range of complex needs, their families and multi-agency professionals as they work together towards agreed outcomes.
