The VI MQ – your views sought

Kubra Akbayrak is a Doctoral Researcher at the School of Education, University of Birmingham. Kubra is conducting research, entitled ‘An investigation into teacher training programmes of specialist teachers of children and young people with vision impairments in Turkey and England’, with the support of Professor Mike McLinden and under the supervision of Professor Graeme Douglas at the University of Birmingham.

Within the scope of the research, Kubra would like to hear the views of qualified teachers of children and young people with vision impairments (QTVIs) working in different educational settings regarding their roles and mandatory qualification that they have had.

She would like to kindly ask you to fill-in a short questionnaire (approx. 10 minutes to complete) to hear your views on your roles and the MQ training programme.

Your participation in this questionnaire is highly appreciated as it is expected that the results of this research will provide decision-makers with information regarding training of specialist teachers in both countries.

Please note that participation in this research is completely voluntary and all the responses will be kept confidential. No personally identifiable information will be associated with the responses to any reports of these data. The University of Birmingham Ethical Review Board has approved this research.
