Purpose of the Job:
To encourage all members of staff, both within the College environment and residential care to recognise and fulfil their statutory responsibilities to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and to provide advice and guidance and underpin good practice in SEN and Additional Educational Needs (AEN) across the College.
To lead a team of staff responsible for support for students with SEN/AEN to ensure that the assessment of student needs and the delivery of support is effective in meeting the requirements of individual students.
To oversee College Annual Reviews for all students.
Please Note This appointment is subject to two verified references, medical clearance, an Enhanced DBS Clearance and Registration and a six month probationary period.
