Qualifications
You must hold one (1) of the following mandatory qualifications OR hold full or associate membership of professional body. Below are details.
You must hold recent DBS or willing to apply for a new one (charge applicable). You will be covered by Terra’s insurance whilst at work on Terra’s behalf.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• BSc / BSc (Hons) Degree in Rehabilitation Work (Visual Impairment)
• PG Dip in Habilitation and Disabilities of Sight (Children and Young People)
• Certification in Habilitation Studies
• Foundation Degree in Rehabilitation Work (Visual Impairment)
• Diploma in Higher Education in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment)
• BTEC Professional Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment)
• Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment)
• Habilitation Work – Working with Children and Young People – Top-Up Degree – BSc (Hons)
• Graduate Diploma in Low Vision Rehabilitation
• Combined Mobility Officer and Technical Officer Certificate
A Membership of either Professional Body:
• Rehabilitation Workers Professional Network (RWPN) (Full or Associate Membership, with proof of relevant work experience applicable to helping HE students)
• Habilitation VI UK (Proof of relevant work experience applicable to helping HE students is required)
